More big news!

Really, really happy to announce i have joined team Pyranha and P&H sea kayaks!

Whilst i'm still a big fan of Zet and my time with them has been short and sweet, the decision to join the Pyranha team was one that made total sense to me, fitting in really well with what i want to achieve in both my personal paddling and professional career.
It's no secret that Pyranha have some of the most progressive designs on the market at the moment, with the 9R and now the 9RL redefining modern whitewater kayaks and paving the way for the sports progression.
I've always been a big fan of the P&H sea kayaks, with the Scorpio and Cetus being my favourite boat of choice for a number of years now, and with big developents coming very soon, it goes without saying i'm VERY excited to be representing the brands, really blown away and grateful for the opportunity to do so.

I'll be staying on as a Canoe and kayak store and Select paddles team paddler, for which i am incredibly grateful for. It's and awesome store, with an amazing group of people running it and the Select paddles really are the mutts nuts!

2016 is shaping up to a big year in many ways for me, so really appreciate anyone reading this blog and keep your eyes peeled for more big news hopefully coming soon!

3 months in Nepal

I've been back in the UK for just under a month now, and it's been back to earth with a bump.
Arriving just before christmas time and being thrown in to the manic consumerism that has become the western tradition didn't do a lot for my sense of homecoming and settlement. With my winter bookings low, and no fixed abode not helping matters. Whilst my time away was often difficult, and sometimes downright depressing, there's so much to be said for that simpler life.
My wanderlust has been far from quenched, and instead of being excited about what comes next, i feel myself confused and agitated about what the future could hold and which avenue i should pursue. My heart and head battle with the life choices laid out in front of me and I deeply miss everyone i shared my experience with, and the places in which we shared them.

Blah blah blah... Emotional rant over. Here's some cool kayaking:
